Guardian Life Celebrates 160 years of Stability, Strength and Integrity
Respect the past, focus on the future’. Those were the words of motivation spoken by Guardian Holdings Chairman Arthur Lok Jack as he delivered the opening remarks at sales year ‘blast off’ of Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited. Guardian Life is this year celebrating its 160th of continuous service to Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean.

Speaking to an audience of some 600 Guardian Life agents and employees, Mr. Lok Jack went on to commend the company’s sales representatives whose persistence and dedication led to an increase in production in 2006, a year that was filled with tremendous adversities. His sentiments were echoed by Group CEO Rory O’Brien and Guardian Life President Ravi Tewari, both of whom praised staff for their ability to adapt and deliver despite the challenges faced in 2006.

Well-known Jamaican motivational speaker, Tony Williamson, a stalwart in the insurance industry for almost four decades, treated the Life Guardians to an inspiring and sometimes interactive hour. He has been a main platform speaker in Singapore, has spoken extensively in the U.S.A., South America and the Caribbean, and writes the popular Dollar for Your Thoughts weekly motivational column for the Daily Gleaner newspaper in Jamaica. He commended Guardian Life on being the oldest insurance company in Trinidad & Tobago and on maintaining, over the centuries, a tradition of stability, integrity and service.
