“One only dream of moments like these,” was Angella Fisher’s initial response after receiving the prestigious award naming her Guardian Life’s Employee of the Year 2006. “It is not the beginning but the continuing until it is faithfully accomplished; that is worth the true glory,” she further added. Similar sentiments were shared by Sales Representative of the Year, Leroy Dallas of Premier Branch 3, who achieved this feat by settling $16.9M net annualized premium income (API), net 107 cases and had an average persistency of 96.31%.Both were recognized at the company’s 7th Annual Awards function held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel recently (Feb. 22). The awards function honoured sales and administrative staff who performed exceptionally well during 2006 as well as recognized persons who achieved academic excellence during that period.

Angella, a Senior Customer Service Representative at the Company’s Montego Bay Branch, expressed that “I received the award, but in our own rights we are all deserving. 
I charge you today in whatever you do, do your best, because it is in doing your best that you can truly be satisfied that your best was good enough.”
Dallas credits much of his success to hard work, dedication and commitment to service. He also attributes his success to “tremendous sacrifices as I would oftentimes be at work while others were at rest.”
He also cited the famous memory gem “heights by great men reached and kept” as one of the motivating words towards him achieving this award.

The Sales Representative of the Year Award honours the person who has maximized the most points based on production, persistency, first year commission (FYC), annualized premium income (API) and average risk premium.
