You can choose any of eight ways to pay your monthly premiums.
Counter Payment
Walk into any Guardian Life location island-wide and make your premium payments using cash, cheque, debit or credit card. We look forward to serving you.
Authorised Payment (PAP)
Rest easy, knowing your payments can be automatically paid, monthly and on time by establishing a pre-authorised payment agreement with your commercial bank. You can arrange for your premiums to be paid, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly. If you wish to use this option, please speak with us, fill out the relevant documentation and we will request the premiums from your bank on your behalf. You can specify that your premium should be remitted on any day of the month between the 1st and the 28th.
Post Dated Cheques (PDC)
You can opt to provide Guardian Life with post dated cheques to be applied to your policy on a frequency determined by you. Available days for selection are the 1st, 12th, 20th and 28th of each month.
Salary Deduction (S/D)
Arrange with your employer to have your Guardian Life premium payment deducted from your salary and remitted directly to us. To activate this convenient option:
- Pick up a salary deduction form from Guardian Life
- Fill it out
- Get it stamped at the human resources department at your work place
- Return it to Guardian Life.
- We will then begin receiving your premiums directly from your salary.
Standing Order
Pay your premium on time, every time, by setting up a standing order with your bank, credit union or financial institution of choice. They will remit your monthly premium to us, once adequate funds are in your account.
Internet Payment
You can pay your premium via the internet using e-banking facilities available at the Scotia Bank or National Commercial Bank (NCB). If you wish to use this option, please speak with your banking representative.
Telephone Banking
You can also pay your premiums through National Commercial Bank’s Tele-Midas or The Bank of Nova Scotia’s Tele-Scotia facilities. If you wish to use this option, please speak with your bank for assistance.
